Aaron Eckhart Spy Thriller ‘Chief Of Station’ Will get US Deal – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Vertical has acquired U.S. rights to spy thriller Chief of Station starring Aaron Eckhart, Olga Kurylenko and Alex Pettyfer.

The Bee Holder Productions and Concourse Media movie is being lined up for a Could 2024 home launch.

Eckhart performs Ben, a former CIA European Station Chief whose world comes crumbling down after his spouse, a former operative, dies in a horrible accident. After receiving cryptic data that his spouse’s loss of life may not have been an accident, Ben heads again into the shadowy underworld of Japanese Europe, teaming up with a former adversary to unravel a conspiracy that challenges all the things he thought he knew about his spouse and the company he labored at for greater than 20 years.

Supporting solid consists of Nick Moran, Chris Petrovski, Daniel Bernhardt, James Faulkner, Laetitia Eido, Isobel Wooden and Nina Bergman.

The movie was written by George Mahaffey (Heatseekers) and directed by Jesse V. Johnson (One Ranger, White Elephant). Producers are Steve Lee Jones for Bee Holder and Matthew Shreder for Concourse.
