‘Despicable Me 4’ Trailer Arrives, Full Solid Revealed – Deadline

Within the first Despicable Me film in seven years, Gru, the supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent, returns together with his Minions in Illumination’s Despicable Me 4.

Following the 2022 summer season blockbuster of Illumination’s Minions: The Rise of Gru, which earned nearly $1 billion worldwide, the animated franchise now begins a brand new chapter as Gru (Steve Carrell) and Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their women —Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Madison Polan)—welcome a brand new member to the Gru household, Gru Jr., who’s intent on tormenting his dad.

Gru faces a brand new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara), and the household is compelled to go on the run.

The movie options new characters voiced by Joey King (Bullet Practice), Stephen Colbert (The Late Present with Stephen Colbert) and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night time Stay).

Pierre Coffin returns as the enduring voice of the Minions and Steve Coogan returns as Silas Ramsbottom.

Despicable Me 4 is directed by a cocreator of the Minions, Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, The Secret Lifetime of Pets), and is produced by Illumination’s founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and by Brett Hoffman (government producer, The Tremendous Mario Bros. Film and Minions: The Rise of Gru).

The movie is co-directed by Patrick Delage (animation director Sing 2 and The Secret Lifetime of Pets 2), and the screenplay is by the creator of White Lotus, Mike White, and the veteran author of each Despicable Me movie, Ken Daurio.
